It has been three wins in a row for Peter Siddle’s side and this has opened their chances of making it to the playoffs. They defeated the Melbourne Stars by 23 runs in the last game to move to 4th place on the points table. The side would face a tougher batting against the Sixers and Siddle would want his players to deliver their best and make it to the next round. 

Matthew Short has looked good with the bat and he would aim to set up a good opening wicket stand with Matt Renshaw here. In the middle order Ian Cockbain, Jake Weatherald, and Jonathan Wells add good strength to this batting line-up and runs would be expected from them. Thomas Kelly and Harry Neilsen are good hitters and they will have to do well against the Sixers’ strong bowling attack. 

It was good efforts from the new ball pair of Short and Harry Conway who scripted the victory for the side and they will aim to bowl similar spells in this game. Henry Thornton produced a great spell in the last game and he would be confident. With Siddle and Fawad Ahmed in the mix, they have a decent attack heading into this contest.

They have had an excellent record against the Strikers and Henriques would like to add one more jewel to the crown with a win here. 

Josh Phillippe and Jack Edwards would need to set a good opening wicket stand and Phillippe has been the best batsman for the side this season. Daniel Hughes and Henriques would be confident after their good knocks in the last game. Daniel Christian, Jordan Silk, and Sean Abbott add punch to this batting line-up and they would look to add quick runs down the order. 

Jackson Bird and Sean Abbott have done well as a new ball pair and the same would be expected from them in this game. Steve O’Keefe was brilliant in the last game and he would look to keep the scoring rate under check in the middle overs with Christian and Ben Dawrshuis. Henriques and Hayden Kerr add good variety to this attack.
