Their last win against North Mumbai Panthers would have lifted the spirits of Dhawal Kulkarni’s side. They now can aim for a place in the semi-finals if they win their next game against the Lions. They played well as a unit in the last game and the skipper would be looking forward to maintaining the momentum. 

Arjun Tendulkar and Aakarshit Gomel form a good opening pair for the side and the pair did well in the last game. In the middle order, Subramanian and Shams Mulani have also done well and been among the runs for the side. With Suryansh Shedge and Nehal Katakdhond completing the Top 6 they have a good batting line-up going into this game. 

Dhawal Kulkarni brings in his experience to the table and Tendulkar has also done well in the season opening the bowling for the side. The bowling has a good variety with Sylvester Dsouza Salman Khan and Shams Mulani in the mix and they can win the game for the side.

Raunaq Sharma the captain of Shivaji Park Lions would be a very upset man. His team wasted an opportunity to win against SoBo SuperSonics in the last game in what was an achievable target. Their batsmen have failed them more than once and the skipper would hope his team can end the season with a win in the next game. 

Openers Swapnil Pradhan and Rudra Dhanday played poorly in the last game apart from Sachin Yadav and Rudra Dhanday none of the batsmen look comfortable. The likes of Nikhil Patil and Onkar Jadhav will have to rise to the occasion for the side to win the next game. What the side needs are a collective batting effort which they haven’t shown this season. 

Vijay Gohil and Raunaq Sharma bowled well in the last game but there was hardly any contribution from other bowlers in the game. The team would expect better performance from Gaurav Bengre and Varun Joijode as they play their final game of the season and need to check the flow of runs.

The weather for May 23 in Mumbai is for clear skies. The pitch is expected to play well and is expected to be a good one for batting. The bowlers will have to bowl smartly to restrict the batsmen as a score in the region of 180 is on the cards.

One of the best T20 venues in India, Wankhede Stadium Mumbai has been a paradise for the batsmen over the years. In this season as well we have seen batsmen do well. Hitting through the line is easy on this ground as there is little in for the bowlers.
