Pat Cummins would be pleased with his side's performance in the first game at Adelaide. It was a clinical win for the team, dominating the game from the start. Their bowlers did well, and the top order played quality knocks in the chase. He would look to carry this momentum forward and win the series in two straight games.  

David Warner and Travis Head set up a 147-run stand in the last game, and the side would like a similar show. Steven Smith looks in good form, and he will look to steer the middle order with Marnus Labuschagne and Alex Carey. The side has depth in the batting department, where Cameron Green, Marcus Stoinis, and Ashton Agar must do well in the finishers' role.  

Mitchell Starc is back in form, and it is excellent news for the side, as the speedster has struggled in recent months. He will look to put England under pressure by sharing the new ball with Pat Cummins. Adam Zampa and Ashton Agar would enjoy the track in Sydney, and the side would expect good spells from them. Jason Roy and Phillip Salt didn't make runs in the last game. The side shall expect a good performance from them. Dawid Malan will carry the confidence after his hundred and needs to build partnerships with James Vince and Sam Billings in the middle order.
