Hosts Australia will be looking to complete a 3-0 whitewash in the Test series when they face Australia in the third and final game at Sydney Cricket Ground, starting from Wednesday.

In the Boxing Day Test, David Warner found form with the bat for Australia and notched up a splendid double century against South Africa. Left-hander will be keen to continue his excellent form for Australia.

The visitors will look to make changes as Rassie van der Dussen, Simon Harmer and Heinrich Klaasen will come into the side in place of Theunis De Bruyn, Lungi Ngidi, and Khaya Zondo for this new year’s Test at SCG.

In the batting department, the side will be relying on the in-form wicket-keeper Kyle Verreynne, who has been South Africa’s leading run-scorer in this series with 149 runs at an average of 37.25.

Experienced batsman Temba Bavuma found form in the previous game played in Melbourne. In the second innings, he produced a decent innings of 65 runs off 144 balls with the help of six boundaries.

Earlier in the match, wicket-keeper Kyle Verreynne and Marco Jansen produced crucial half-centuries to see South Africa post 189 runs in their first innings.
