Sri Lanka starts the tour at Adelaide with their first match and Sri Lanka will look to get some game time in Australian conditions before the T20 World Cup here next year. Sri Lankan players will be eager to perform and seal their spot in the World Cup Squad. They come into this series after a 3-0 clean sweep against Pakistan with their second-string team.
Australia, on the other hand, is going through a lot of changes in the team with Steve Smith and David Warner returning to the T20I setup. Australia will look to perform well and put some inspired performances against a young Sri Lankan team.
Australia is led by Aaron Finch and he is expected to open the batting. David Warner and Steve smith return to the team and will form the core of the batting line-up in this series. Glenn Maxwell, Ben McDermott, and Keeper Alex Carey are expected to find a place in the starting XI with Ashton Turner not available due to injury art at the last minute.
They have a lot of options in the pace bowling department with Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Billy Stanlake, Kane Richardson and Andrew Tye. Kane Richardson and Andrew Tye will have shootout for a spot in the playing XI while the other three are expected to find a place easily. Adam Zampa is the lone spinner in the squad and he will have the tough job of containing the batsmen in the middle overs and Maxwell may come up with some good overs.
Glenn Maxwell – Maxwell is in excellent form in the local tournament recently and he is a tough player to contain once he gets set. He can also give some vital overs with his off-spin.
Adam Zampa – Adam Zampa has been a revelation in the T20Is for the Australia team and he is a wicket-taking bowler who always attacks the batsmen. He can also bat in the lower order to give the team some vital runs.

The weather looks bright and sunny with no chances of rain and we expect a full interrupted match of 40 overs.
Adelaide pitch is expected to aid the faster bowlers and we can expect high scores in the range of 170-180 runs in this match. The average score in this pitch is 169 runs.
Chasing is the best option in the T20Is and teams are comfortable chasing down big totals in the recent matches.
Both teams have a good batting and bowling line-up in their squad. But Australia has an upper hand due to their home conditions and we can never count out any team in the shortest format. We expect a cracking contest between two equally poised teams. We predict Australia to win this match.
Australia will win the match!
