The 2025 Women's Cricket World Cup has been a fantastic festival showcasing individual and team talent in the sport, and although rain has played a significant role particularly in the games scheduled in Sri Lanka, there is a huge amount of excitement as the semi-finals approach.
This match in Indore on Saturday could well turn out to be the same sides who will contest next weekend's final so there is plenty to play for across both teams.
South Africa Women were well beaten in their opening match but have since found plenty of momentum and now look like genuine contenders.
As for Australia Women, they remain the top dogs in this sport and have quality throughout their squad.

Australia Women faced on paper their toughest game of the tournament earlier this week but they showed that they remain the strongest side as they brushed aside the challenge of England Women by six wickets with 57 balls remaining!
The bowling unit took nine wickets with Annabel Sutherland taking 3/60 as well as Sophie Molineux and Ashleigh Gardner picking up two dismissals each.
With the bat, Sutherland hit an unbeaten 98 with Ashleigh Gardner also stepping up with an unbeaten century.
Skipper Alyssa Healy missed the win over England Women through injury and we expect her to be rested once more to increase her chance of being 100% for the semi-final stage.

South Africa Women are playing fantastic cricket and confidence is running through the side - best seen by their 150 run (DLS) victory over Pakistan Women on Tuesday.
Skipper Laura Wolvaardt led the way at the top of the order, hitting 90 runs from 82 balls but she was also well assisted by Marizanne Kapp (68 not out from 43 balls) and Nadine de Klerk (41 runs from just 16 balls!).
South Africa Women have always had some strong all-rounders and that could be crucial in this contest against such a strong Australia Women side.
With the ball, expect Kapp, Ayabonga Khaka and Nondumiso Shangase to be key.

There is a chance of showers and light rain in Indore throughout Saturday afternoon and evening. The temperature will be around 15 degrees throughout this fixture.
A par score will be around 330 on this pitch in Indore. Whoever fields first will find their best approach is to aim to bowl out the opposition in the first half of the match.
Most teams in this tournament prefer to field first so that if rain does come in the second half of the game that they can adjust as the target changes. We predict both sides will want to bowl first.
This should be an excellent game as South Africa Women are now brimming with confidence and playing some excellent cricket. However, Australia Women are the world leaders and we predict another victory for the green and gold.
We are backing Australia to win!
