South Africa did not have a good start to the 2019 World Cup losing their opening match against England by 107 runs. Quinton de Kock and Rassie van der Dussen scored 50+ runs but failed to chase down the target effectively. Hashim Amla was injured after a blow on the helmet and he will be assessed before this match. David Miller was not picked in the playing XI in the last match. Imran Tahir opened the bowling attack surprisingly and even dismissed Jonny Bairstow in his second ball. Pacers Lungi Ngidi and Kagiso Rabada shared 5 wickets between them and were very effective with the ball in death overs. Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza, Mustafizur Rahman, and Mohammed Saifuddin are expected to slot in as the pacers in the starting XI. Mehdi Hasan will partner Shakib to share the spin bowling in the middle overs. Bangladesh team has a good mix of experienced players in batting and bowling line-ups.
