Bet NowIf the performance of the West Indies in the two games is anything to go by the young side is no match for the confident Bangladeshi squad. In both the games so far it has been completely one-sided affair where the visitors have not been able to put any challenge to the hosts. We have seen two games which are bad exhibition for ODI cricket as the course of the game has been decided in the first few overs.
West Indies’ batsmen have looked completely out of playing in the two games so far and have been bowled out for 122 and 148 runs respectively in the two games. They look extremely low on confidence at the moment and it will take some spirited effort from them to win this game. Bangladesh are on the verge of whitewashing the visitors and it would be interesting to see if West Indies is able to surprise them in this game.
Tamim Iqbal would be happy with the way his side has played in both the games. It has been a professional effort from the team where they have executed their game plan brilliantly. Iqbal would like to add to the agony of the visitors in this game and carry the momentum forward to the upcoming Test series.
On the batting front Tamim Iqbal looks good at the moment and shall look to provide a good start with Liton Das who has been throwing his wicket away. The side has a power packed middle order with Najmul Hossain Shanto and the experience of Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim. Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah’s hitting ability is a strength booster for the side down the order.
Mustafizur Rahman is shaping the ball well and has been brilliant in both the games. Along with Rubel Hossain he would be targeting early wickets in this game. Mehidy Hasnan and Shakib have troubled West Indies with their variety in both the games so far and shall look to continue with their form. With Hasan Mahmud in there this attack can trouble the opponents easily.

Jason Mohammad’s side is short on both skills and temperament at the moment. They came in with a young squad for this series and most of the players have disappointed with their performances. There seems to be a lack of self-belief in the side for the moment and it would take a complete turnaround for them to avoid another humiliating defeat going into the last game.
Batting has been disastrous so far especially at the top. Sunil Ambris and Kjorn Ottley will need to play a strong hand in this game at the top. Joshua Da Silva, Andrew McCarthy and Mohammad have failed in both the games and the side would expect them to build partnerships here. Rovman Powell has done well in both the games and he would need to guide the lower middle order along with Kyle Mayers and Nkrumah Bonner.
There hasn’t been much to do for the bowlers so far in the two games though Alzarri Joseph has bowled with lot of heart. Mayers will need to support him well with the new ball in ths game. Akeal Hosein, Mohammad and Raymon Reifer have bowled decently and the same would be expected of them in this game.

The skies over Chattogram would be clear on January 25 and the day would be warm at the start of the game. There is expected to be some juice early on in the game though batsmen would be able to play their strokes freely here. The side that bats first in the game will have to eye a score of around 280 runs here.
Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram evens it out between the batsmen and the bowlers. Fast bowlers see good assistance from the track early on in the game while the true bounce and pace on the surface allows batsmen to play their strikes. Once the ball gets old and soft spinners do well in this ground.
There is something for the fast bowlers early on in the game and dew would have a role to play when the game goes into the evening. The wicket has been a good one to chase scores on and hence the side winning the toss here is likely to opt for bowling first in the game.
West Indies will have to win the mental battle as much as the battle on the ground in the last game of the ODI series. The two losses so far would have surely dented their confidence. The batting line-up will have to show more character in this game. For Bangladesh it has been a walk in the park in both the games and the side has played according to its plans and this would make them favorites here.
