Shakib Al Hasan leads the side in the T20I too and will be under huge pressure to lead from the front with his performances. Experienced players Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudullah, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim, and Liton Das will form the core group of the batting unit. Mustafizur Rahman and Mohammed Saifuddin will be frontline pacers in the team and are expected to play a big role with the new ball and death overs. They have fairly inexperienced spin department with the likes of Mahedi Hasan, Taijul Islam, and Afif Hossain to partner their skipper Shakib. Taijul Islam is expected to debut after his impressive performances in the Test matches.

Mahmudullah – Mahmudullah is one of the consistent performers for the Bangladesh team in the limited-overs format. He will look to score runs for his team in the middle order in this T20I series. 

Mustafizur Rahman – Mustafizur returns to the team after being dropped in the test side and he is one of the top bowlers in the T20I format. He has the cutters and variations to succeed in the shortest format and he is a very tough bowler to attack.
