Brisbane Heat Women will host Hobart Hurricanes Women in the 41st game of the Women’s Big Bash League at Karen Rotton Oval, Adelaide. The game is scheduled for 12th November from 12:30 pm. Both teams have won their previous games comfortably. But it will be a tough task for Hobart Hurricane, who will play a game against Adelaide Strikers Women a day before this showdown. 

Brisbane Heat beat the defending champions Perth Scorchers by 33 runs to topple the Sydney Sixers Women from the first spot. Batting first, Brisbane Heat put 153 runs on the board Nicola Hancock and Amelia Kerr then put the nail in the coffin to restrict the Scorchers Women to 120 for the loss of 8 wickets. Hancock and Kerr took 5 out of these 8 by giving just 42 runs. This was the third consecutive win for the Brisbane Heat Women.

Hobart Hurricanes kept their semi-final hopes alive by beating Melbourne Renegades Women with 8 wicket win. Bowling first, Hurricanes Women bowled out Renegades Women for just 80 runs.
