Bihar must have fancied their chances against Jammu and Kashmir in the Round 3 match. But the game was abandoned due to a wet outfield. Now they will be up against the mighty Karnataka who have won 3 matches on the trot.

They will be playing at the Narendra Modi Stadium A Ground in Ahmedabad. Karnataka will look for an easy win against a struggling Bihar lineup. Looking at the current form of Karnataka it seems like Bihar will be facing an uphill battle to even survive 50 overs with the bat.

Ashutosh Aman must be disappointed with his top order after two back-to-back collapses. Bihar haven’t been a promising side in the domestic circuit anyway but to have your top and middle order just fall like a house of cards in consecutive matches is a huge setback for a skipper early in the tournament.

They tried changing the opening duo by sending Shishir Saket to open alongside Mangal Mahrour and sending Bipin Saurabh down to number 5. The openers continued to fail while Saurabh looked in fine touch with two sixes scoring 16 off 6 deliveries before he was caught by Rahul Tewatia off Harshal Patel.

In the lower order, R Pratap Singh and Veer Pratap Singh are handy with the bat but it is S Gani, Babul Kumar, and Bipin Saurabh who need to deliver partnerships in the middle-order to take Bihar to a competitive score.

Karnataka are on song with back-to-back wins. These wins have been exceptional as they completely outplayed the opposition every single time. Both departments have been in their best form for Karnataka.

In their last match against Delhi, the bowlers were on top of the game as they humbled a strong Dehli batting lineup. Vidhwath Kaverappa, V Koushik, and Vijaykumar Vyshak are the key bowlers who’ve led the charge with the ball.

They were in peak form as Karnataka bowled out Delhi for just 143 runs bowling first. Koushik has picked 8 wickets in the last 3 innings while Vyshak is second with 7 wickets.

The match will take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium A Ground in Ahmedabad. It is the same venue where Bihar were all out for 149 runs against Delhi. It looks like a good batting venue though Bihar’s innings didn’t reflect that. We reckon a 260+ score should be on the cards in the 1st innings.

It may not be an easy pitch to bat on and given the soil used here, we reckon the batting conditions would get better as the match progresses. Karnataka has a solid bowling attack that can dominate Bihar on any pitch and should back themselves to even chase down any total with an in-form top and middle-order.
