Belagavi Panthers came back strongly in the second half of the league stages, but their winning 3-match streak came to a halt against Bellary Tuskers in the qualifiers 1. Abhinav Manohar played a fighting knock of 64 runs in the huge chase of 201 runs. Stallion Hoover and Avinash D scored some vital runs with their cameos but they were not enough to threaten the chase. They were comfortably beaten by a margin of 37 runs.

The Panthers bowling unit was taken for a lot of runs in the first innings. Shubang Hedge was the only economical bowler with match figures of 4-0-22-0 but failed to take wickets. Pacers Zahoor Farooqui and Avinash D took 2 wickets each but ended up conceding over 100 runs in their combined 8 overs. They failed to control the Tuskers Batter`s and ended up giving away 200+ runs in the important clash.
