Both the sides are coming into the contest with a win and a loss on the opening day. The Raptors would be confident going into this game with the kind of batting line-up they have with their top order look in good form at the moment. It was a mixed day at the office for Varun Mehta’s side as they started the day with a big win where they defeated the Moravian CC by 69 runs but delivered a contrasting performance against the Brno Rangers losing the game by 17 runs. Mehta would like his players to draw inspiration from the first game and battle it out to improve their chances in next round of games.  
Jan Hoffmann looks in good form with the bat at the top and he will look to provide a promising start in company of Sandeep Naidu. Mehta also scored runs and shall strengthen the middle order. In Muhammad Ansar, Ali Kashif and Vivek Raxwal they have a good batting line-up and shall be looking to put up a big score on the board. 
Their bowlers bowled excellently in the first game though they were found wanting in the second one. Suresh Ramaro and Hoffmann are doing well with the new ball. Machris Dias and Basavantaray Madival are also generating good rhythm and this will make them confident ahead of this contest.

Anzer Khan would be slightly upset with his side’s performance on the opening day. While his side started the day well winning comfortably against the Moravian CC by 7 wickets they suffered a 5 wicket loss against the Brno Rangers. Khan would want his players to put their best performance against a side that looks in good form. 
Batting is the area where the side will need to make amends and they would be expecting a good start from Aamir Hussain and Vijay Bijalwan. Their middle order failed in the last game and the side would need the likes of Ganesh Duraisamy, Kudzai Chomusora and Anzer Khan to do the big hitting in the next game. 
Vijay Bijalwan and Piyush Tripathi bowled well in the two games and together they will look to pick early wickets and bowl tight spells like they have done. Aamir Husain and Arunkumar Vasudevan will need to rally around them in this game.

The skies would be clear over Brno on July 5 though there would be odd clouds. The track is a difficult one to bat on as it is two paced and the bowlers are getting decent bounce and carry from it. The side that bats first in this game would be happy to reach a score of 80 runs as that would apply pressure on the opponents.

Venue Details

Brno Cricket Ground is a small ground and the outfield has a thick grass cover which doesn’t allow too many boundaries. Batsmen who have the big strokes in their kitty have done well at this venue.  Fast bowlers enjoy the conditions as there is assistance for them here. It is a challenging surface for the spinners given the shorter boundaries.
