Bangla Tigers would have to come out with an impressive performance as they take on the Maratha Arabians in the 7th game of the T10 League 2021. The Tigers went down against the Delhi Bulls in the last game after putting up a big score on the board. The Maratha Arabians on the other hand also lost to the Bulls in the last match after starting with a win in their first game. 

The Maratha Arabians put up a low total in the last game and this would surely hurt their confidence. They would have to come out of this big defeat and play well here to meet Tigers’ strong batting line-up. The Tigers too would be under pressure to perform after their defeat in their opening encounter. With both the sides finding themselves in similar form this game is expected to be a tight contest.

Andre Fletcher would be upset with the form of his bowlers. They put up a big total in the last game but lost out to poor bowling going down by 7 wickets against the Delhi Bulls in the last game. This is a must win game for the side and Fletcher would have to inspire his side to come out of the defeat and play well in this game. 

Andre Fletcher and Johnson Charles were brilliant with the bat in the last game and the same would be expected from them here. In Tom Moores, Afif Hossain and Chirag Suri they have good strength in the middle order. George Garton, Isuru Udana and Karim Janat are good hitters of the ball and will have to play a big role down the order. 

The bowling was torn apart in the last game and the side would expect better performance from Mujeeb-ur-Rahman and Mohammad Irfan with the new ball as both these players have lot of experience. Karim Janat, Garton and Udana would have to bowl tight spells considering the kind of strength the Arabians have in their top order.

Mosaddek Hossain’s side after a good start in the last game were blow away by the Delhi Bulls. Their bowlers had no answers to the onslaught of the Bulls’ batsmen as they went down by 9 wickets in a one-sided game. Hossain would know that the Bangla Tigers would also be under pressure and look for a better show from his players. 

Abdul Shakoor and Javed Ahmadi will need to provide the side with a good start in the game. Laurie Evans has failed in two games and he will have to fire in this game. Mohammad Hafeez and Ishant Malohtra would need to provide good support to Hossain who has looked in good form. 

Their bowlers will have to come out of the shock treatment they got in the last game. Sompal Kami and Yamin Ahmadzai must provide early breakthroughs for the side. Pravin Tambe would need to make good use of his experience and also expect support from Sohag Gazi and Muktar Ali.

The skies would be clear with odd clouds on January 30 over Abu Dhabi and we expect to see a good game. The pitch has been slow where the odd ball has stopped and surprised the batsmen. The side batting first in this game would have to keep a target score of 130 runs in mind.

Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi is one of the largest grounds in UAE but the quick outfield here does allow the batsmen to score quick runs. It isn’t the best wicket for the fast bowlers with little movement in the air but spinners do well as there is good turn on offer for them.
