They have dropped down on the points table and must win this game to revive their fortunes.  

Will Jacks has played well, and he would have to set up a good opening wicket stand with Afif Hossain. Chadwick Walton coming in has strengthened the middle order and he would have to build partnerships with Islam and Shamim Hossain. Benny Howell, Mehidy Hasan, and Akbar Ali must do the big-hitting towards the end for the side to win this game. 

Their bowlers did a good job in the last game and a similar show would be expected from them here. Shoriful Islam and Hasan must strike early as Victorians have good strength at the top. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury has done well in the last two games and the side would like to see him do well in the middle overs with Howell, Jacks, and Afif Hossain.

Comilla Victorians Preview

After three straight wins, Imrul Kayes’s side suffered its first loss of the season in the last game. Their batting line-up failed against Minister Group Dhaka and the side went down by 50 runs. They had registered a big win against the Chattogram Challengers in their previous game and they would like to draw inspiration from that win. 

It was a rare failure from their batsmen in the last game. They would like to see a good start in this game from Liton Das and Mahmudul Hasan Joy who have made runs in the tournament. In the middle order, they have experienced players in Faf du Plessis, Cameron Delport, and Kayes. Ariful Haque, Nahidul Islam, and Karim Janat have good batting skills and add depth to their batting. 

Nahidul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman are in good form with the new ball and the side would expect to see early strikes from them in this game. Shohidul Islam has been expensive in most games and the side would need tighter spells from him and Karim Janat in this game. With Tanvir Islam, Haque, and Delport in the side, they have good bowling options.

Shere Bangla National Stadium is known for being flat and we have seen big scores here from batsmen in the past. The fast outfield also acts as an advantage for the batsmen. The surface can be unforgiving for the fast bowlers, but we have seen spinners do well here in the past.
