Naeem Islam replaced Mehidy Hasan as the captain of the side in the last game against the Sylhet Sunrisers. It was a 16-run win for the side in a high-scoring encounter that saw bowlers running for cover. They now sit on the top of the points table and Islam would like to continue with the dominance with a win here. 

Chadwick Walton is likely to replace Kennar Lewis at the top as Lewis has failed in all games, and he would aim to give a good start with Will Jacks who looks in good form. The middle-order has looked formidable with Afif Hossain, Benny Howell, and Sabbir Rahman playing well. Mehidy Hasan and Islam would look to do the big-hitting towards the end. 

Nasum Ahmed bowled well in the last game, but the rest of the bowlers were taken to the cleaners. Shoriful Islam shall have to do well with the new ball. Mehidy Hasan and Howell are experienced bowlers, and the side would like them to make good use of the conditions. Mrittunjoy Chowdhury and Rejaur Rahman Raja shall have to come up with better spells in this game.

Imrul Kayes’s side has started the season well. The side has won both the games it has played so far. It was a good show from their bowlers in the last game against Fortune Barishal where they won by 63 runs. They would have to play well against the Challengers who look in excellent form and Kayes shall like to see his batsmen deliver in this game. 

Cameron Delport and Mahmudul Hasan Joy have to set up a good opening wicket stand in this game. The middle-order has looked rusty and the side would look for runs from Faf du Plessis, Mominul Haque, and Kayes in this game. Karim Janat did well down the order in the last game and he would look to add quick runs with Mahidul Islam Ankon.
