Canterbury Kings Preview

Cole McConchie's team finished second on the points table to earn a place in this game. They had done well in the tournament's first leg but fared poorly in the last few games. McConchie shall look to put the poor performances behind them and aim at making it to the final.  

Chad Bowes and Henry Nicholls have looked in good form, and they will need to set up a big opening wicket stand in this game. In this game, Ken McClure has to anchor the innings at No. 3 and build partnerships with Leo Carter and Cam Fletcher. The side will also expect a good show lower down the order from Zakary Foulkes and Angus McKenzie.  

McConchie had done well with the new ball and will need to make early inroads opening the bowling with William O'Rourke. Ed Nuttall has lots of experience, and the side will expect him to deliver a good performance in this contest along with in-form Angus McKenzie. Blake Coburn and Zakary Foulkes must do well in this game.

Hamish Rutherford led from the front and used a bit of luck to hammer his side into the Eliminator Final. It was an excellent show from the skipper in the run chase against the Northern Knights, winning the game by 7 wickets. Rutherford would like to continue with the same momentum in this contest and make it to the final.   

Hamish Rutherford scored a hundred in the last game and set up a 102-run opening stand with Max Chu. The pair will look for a similar start. The middle order is experienced with Glenn Phillips on the side, and he will look to add runs with Dean Foxcroft and Llew Johnson. Dale Phillips, Michael Rippon, and Jake Gibson add to the side's strength.  

Matthew Bacon and Michael Rae bowled brilliantly with the new ball in the last game and will look to do the same in this contest. The side will need tight spells from Ben Lockrose and Jake Gibson in the middle overs. Michael Rippon and Phillips add variety to this attack, making it strong.
