It will be a battle for supremacy as both the side has already qualified for the play-off stage of the tournaments. Comilla Victorians snatched the last game versus Dhaka Dynamites by a single run in what has been one of the most thrilling games of the season. With four wins in last four games they have great momentum on their side. 

They had a bad outing with the bat in the last game and apart from Tamin Iqbal none of their top order batsmen made any contributions. Evin Lewis, Anamul Haque, Imrul Kayes have all looked good this season and will want to contribute in the next game. With big hitters like Shahid Afridi and Thisara Perara towards the end the innings the team definitely has the batting firepower. 

It was a great bowling display by the bowlers in the last game where they defended the small total of 127 runs. Mohammad Saifuddin was brilliant picking up 4 wickets. Mahedi Hasan and Wahab Riaz also bowled well. Moshrraf Hossain held his nerves in the most crucial part of the game and with Afridi in the attack they would test their opponents in the upcoming game.

Rangpur Riders Preview

Their last victory against Rajshahi Kings was clinical where they made the chase look easy. The team which has an incredibly strong batting line-up is riding on full steam and has won the last five games. 

With Chris Gayle at the top the team would be very confident about its prospects though the big man hasn't fired yet. Rilee Rossouw and AB de Villiers are in great form which makes it a great batting unit. With Mohammand Mithun, Nahidul Islam and Farhad Reza in the lower order the team has an extremely dangerous batting line-up. 

The bowlers did well in the last game especially Nazmul Islam, Shahidul Islam and Farhad Reza. Their skipper Mashrafe Mortaza has been bowling incredibly well all through the season and they have been able to keep oppositions' flow of runs under check. This will make it a tough bowling line-up to score against in the next game.

Weather Conditions

It is expected to be a hazy afternoon in Dhaka on February 02 and the bowlers might just have something going for them in the initial overs. The pitch would be perfect for stroke making as we have seen in most games at this venue. The spinners are likely to get good bargain out of the pitch in the second innings once it wears down a bit. 

VENUE

Shere Bangla National Stadium is a great track to bat on and perhaps the best in the country. The season has so far seen lot of high scoring games and batsmen can play through the line with shorter square boundaries. Fast bowlers have their bit in the early overs and spinners too have performed well making it a good T20 ground.

Toss: To Bat

Dew isn’t likely to affect the result in this game since it would be played in the afternoon. If the batsmen can see off the initial overs it becomes a good track to bat on and score runs. The fast bowlers also find it little easy to bowl here towards the evening and the team winning the toss would in most likelihood want to bat first.
