Imrul Kayes’ side suffered a batting collapse in the last game as they went down by 32 runs against Fortune Barishal. Kayes would sense an opportunity here considering Sylhet’s poor form and want his side to register a big win and book a berth in the playoffs. 

Kayes and Liton Das form a strong opening combination and they would look to offer a good start in this game. The middle-order failed in the last game and the side would need runs from Moeen Ali, Mominul Haque, and Mahmudul Hasan Joy. In Sunil Narine and Nahidul Islam, they have good hitters of the ball down the order.  

Nahidul Islam and Mustafizur Rahman would aim at early strikes as the Sunrisers have been good with the bat. Tanvir Islam has shown good form and he would be expected to  bowl tight lines in the middle overs. Narine and Moeen Ali are experienced bowlers, and the side would want to see a good show from them.

Ravi Bopara’s side has lost all hopes of making it to the playoffs with their 12-run loss against Fortune Barishal in the last game. It was another instance of miserable bowling from the side as they allowed the opponents to put up a big score on the board. The side would play for its pride here and Bopara shall like to see a better show from his players.  

Colin Ingram is in great form, and he would look to set up a good opening wicket stand with Anamul Haque. Bopara, Mohammad Mithun, and Mosaddek Hossain are experienced players and runs would be expected from them in this game. Mizanur Rahman and Alauddin Babu shall need to add runs down the order for the side to win. 

Sohag Gazi and Shiraz Ahmed need to bowl tight spells with the new ball which has been one of the major problem areas for the side. In the middle overs, they would expect tight spells from Babu, Nazmul Islam, and Ask Swadhin.
