Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians has been one of most sought fater matches in IPL with both teams being the most successful teams so far. CSK has started the tournament in grand fashion winning all the three matches they have played so far. MS Dhoni played an well calculated knock of 75 runs to propel Chennai to commendable target. Suresh Raina and Dwayne Bravo shared 50-run partnership with Dhoni to build partnerships.

Their bowling has looked very effective this season taking the most number of wickets so far. Deepak Chahar and Shardul Thakur picked up three wickets inside powerplay to dent the Royal`s momentum last match. Dwayne Bravo came back strongly to defend 12 runs in the last over. Imran Tahir has been very effective with his leggies and wrong ones. Mitchell santner and Jadeja struggled to grip the ball due to dew last match leaking runs in middle overs. Mumbai Indians are not having a good start this season and they are usually slow starters every year. Skipper Rohit Sharma and Quinton de Kock have been batting well together scoring runs at good rate in power plays. They are well supported by cameos from Yuvraj Singh and Pandya brothers towards the innings end.  Kieron Pollard has been failing in their batting department consistently. Their bowling has been their biggest worry with the bowlers leaking over 180- runs in all their completed matches. Jasprit Bumrah has been the lone bright spot in bowling with no real support from other end. Haedik Pandya, Mitchell MCClenaghan and Lasith Malingsa has been taken for runs this year and their bowling has been not effective with wickets too. Krunal Pandya and Mayank Markande are the spin bowlers in the team and are yet to make a mark in this year with their performance. Alzarri Joseph and Jason Behrendoff are expected to join the squad before this match .

Rohit Sharma – Rohit has scored 48 and 32 runs in the last two matches and he is due for a big score. Rohit can really go big as everyone knows once he gets set. No boundary is big enough for him.

Hardik Pandya –Pandya has been taken to cleaners this year with figures of 1/41, 0/37 and 0/39 in a total of 10 overs across three matches. His batting lookds good and he is scoring runs at a healthy strike rate over 200.

Deepak Chahar – Chahar has been excellent with the new ball giving away runs in less than 5 RPO in all the three matches. He bowls his quota of 4 overs upfront.
