Dhaka Platoon will be keen to put in a better performance when they take on Rajshahi Royals in the 26th match of 2019 Bangladesh Premier League at Shere Bangla Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Monday.
Dhaka Platoon has managed to win four of seven games, which is why Skipper Mashrafe Mortaza will be keen to improve team’s performance after last match defeat against Chattogram Challengers.

Middle-order comprising of Shahid Afridi, Thisara Perera, and Shadab Khan will be given the task to pile on the runs in the later stages of the innings. Thisara Perera has produced crucial scores for the side so far in this competition. Left-hander has accumulated 118 runs in 5 outings at an average of 39.33.

In the previous game, Shoaib Malik, Afif Hossain led the way with the bat to see Rajshahi Royals post 190 runs for the loss of four wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Captain Andre Russell delivered a blistering 37 not out off 21 balls with the help of four sixes.
In reply, Mohammad Irfan, Ravi Bopara, and Shoaib Malik delivered excellent spells to see Royals register a 15-run win over Warriors.
Shoaib Malik was the standout performer with the bat and ball against Comilla Warriors. He delivered an excellent inning of 61 runs off 38 balls with the help of five fours and three sixes. He put on an 84-run partnership with Andre Russell to post a mammoth score on the board.
Liton Das and Afif Hossain also delivered crucial scores for the side against Chattogram Challengers. Das scored 24 runs off 19 balls with the help of two fours and one six, whereas Hossain chipped in with 43 runs off 30 balls with the help of six fours and one six.
In the bowling department, the side will be banking on the likes of Andre Russell, Mohammad Irfan, and Ravi Bopara to make crucial breakthroughs in this contest. Captain Andre Russell has led the way with the ball in hand. He is currently franchise’s leading wicket-taker in the competition with 10 wickets at an economy rate of 8.41.
