Dhaka Platoon has won two consecutive matches after putting 170+ scores on board. Tamim Iqbal and Anamul Haque put a good opening stand of 45 runs inside the powerplay. Mominul Haque continued their good platform to set the match for a good finish. Asif Ali and Ariful Haque ensured a fitting finish with fireworks sharing a 54-run partnership of just 21 balls. Hasan Mahmud took 4 wickets to lead their charge with the ball.

Mashrafe Mortaza and Thisara Perera chipped in with a wicket each and keep up their momentum. Shadab Khan was excellent with the ball bowling a good spell of 4-0-25-1 to strangle the batsmen in middle overs. Premier pacer Wahab Riaz may return to the playing XI this match.
