Delhi Bulls kicked off their T10 League campaign with a narrow win in the first game against Northern Warriors followed by a tied match. 

Their fortunes have changed since then as Bravo and co. have lost 3 consecutive matches. However, one thing that has remained constant is Jordan Cox and his inability to make an impact. 

The wicket-keeper batsman was out for 18 off 12 at number 3 in the tied game against Team Abu Dhabi. In the last game that Delhi Bulls lost to Bangla Tigers, Cox scored 34 off 21 balls.

The strike rate may not look that bad but in both cases, Jordan Cox departed in the 8th over with many runs still needed from very few deliveries. 

No matter how good batters there are down the order, they are left with very few deliveries and in case of a big total like 120 or 130, unless the top 3 have laid a foundation, there’s not much they can do. 

Rilee Rossouw is a key player and opens the innings with Tom Banton. The Bulls gave a few chances to Rahkeem Cornwall at the top and the big man failed. It is a good time to bring in Khushdil Shah at number 3 replacing Cox.

Though the middle-overs batting is an issue, it is not as big as the failure of the bowlers. Richard Gleeson seems to have lost his rhythm and is going for many runs lately. Keemo Paul, Bravo, and Imad Wasim need to turn things around for the DBL bowling attack.

New York Strikers will be playing the Northern Warriors before taking on the Delhi Bulls. That game will be crucial to get an insight into how the team is likely to do against the Bulls.

The Warriors are a worthy opponent for the Strikers and will test their batting and bowling departments. If the Strikers emerge victorious in that game, they will certainly roll over the struggling Delhi Bulls.

The batting did suffer in that game as most players were out for single digits scores and it was only Stirling and Azam Khan who led the team to a 110 total.

The positive for Strikers in the batting department is the approach of their top-order batters. Unlike the Bulls, these batters play more aggressively without wasting any deliveries.

It is such an attitude that results in multiple players scoring over 200 strike rate in the same innings. Fletcher, Stirling, Morgan, and Azam Khan are in the top 4 of the New York Strikers' batting order. 

And all of these players are always trying to dominate the bowler and put the ball a few rows in the stand. Jordan Thompson, Matiullah Khan, and Ravi Rampaul will be the key bowlers to watch out for in this side.
