Kings XI Punjab Preview

Unlike the previous editions of the IPL, Kings XI Punjab have got off to a good start and have secured five wins out of nine games played so far in the competition. In their previous game, Kings XI registered narrow 12-run win over Rajasthan Royals in Mohali on Tuesday.

For Kings XI, the batting department has been their strength so far with the likes of Lokesh Rahul, Chris Gayle and Mayank Agarwal continuously contributing for the team. 

The opening pair of Lokesh Rahul and Chris Gayle have produced phenomenal numbers with the bat so far this season. Rahul is currently franchise’s leading run-scorer with 387 runs in 9 matches at an average of 64.50. His opening partner Chris Gayle is not far behind and has scored 352 runs in 8 matches at an average of 50.28.

Rahul and Gayle once again delivered runs with the bat in the previous game played against Rajasthan Royals. Rahul scored a splendid half-century and anchored the innings for Kings XI Punjab.
