Although they had put pressure initially but failed to deliver the same at the death overs and conceded 189 runs in the 20 overs.

While chasing the target of 190 runs, DC’s openers had started the inning with a bang and managed to put a 50 runs partnership for the first wicket in the 5th over only. David Warner had shown his class again and scored 66 runs in 38 balls but the middle-order batters failed to deliver partnerships in the middle overs. DC lost the match by 16 runs.
