It was a confident win for Hari Nishanth’s side in the last game. They did well with the bat and the ball to register a 9-wicket win against the IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans. However, the side has been inconsistent and Nishanth would like to deliver a good show here. The Panthers are a good side and the Dragons’ skipper would like to see good efforts from his team.  

K Vishal Vaidhya played a match-winning knock in the last game, and he would like to set up a good opening wicket stand with Hari Nishanth. At No. 3 Mani Bharathi is looking good and the side would like to see him build partnerships with RS Mokit Hariharan and R Vivek. Karaparambil Monish and AG Pradeep shall look for boundaries towards the end of the game.  

Lakshminarayanan Vignesh and Rangaraj Suthesh did well with the new ball in the last game and similar efforts would be expected from them. M Silambarasan bowled a great spell, and this would add to his confidence. The side would like to use its bowling depth smartly and get good performances out of Nishanth, Monish, and VP Diran in this important game.

Madurai Panthers Preview

NS Chaturved’s team suffered their first loss of the season in the last game. They were outplayed by the Nellai Royal Kings in the last game and ended up 26 runs short of the victory target. Chaturved and his men would like to put that loss behind them and aim at regaining their momentum with a win in this game.  

Arun Karthik hit a splendid century in the last game but that wasn’t enough for the side. He would like to provide a positive start opening with Balchander Anirudh. Chaturved, Jagatheesan Kousik, and K Rajkumar must play strong hands in the middle order. The side would also like to see runs from the bats of Sunny Sandhu and Thalaivan Sargunam in this contest.  

Their bowling attack was demolished by the Royal Kings in the last game and the side would expect tight spells from Sunny Sandhu and Kiran Akash with the new ball.  Varun Chakravarthy is an experienced campaigner, and he would have an important role in the middle overs. The side would also like to see R Mithun, R Silambarasan, and Kousik bowl better lines.

NPR College Ground, Dindigul has shorter boundaries and a quick outfield which makes it an excellent venue for the batsmen. They can hit through the line as the ball comes onto the bat nicely. Fast bowlers struggle on this surface, but we have seen spinners get assistance from the track and do well.
