Derbyshire are not coming into the game with the best of form. In Spite of being unbeaten in the last 3 games they have managed to just draw them all which will be extremely disappointing for them. They are currently last on the points table.

After losing the toss, and put to bat first Derbyshire would have been delighted. Putting up a total of 443 in the 1st innings was an incredible achievement. Brooke Guest was the star of the innings scoring 197 off 319 balls, anchoring the Derbyshire innings. Trailing in the 2nd innings, Derbyshire Innings was cut short due to rain.

The bowling department had a huge total to bowl at and would have wanted to bowl out the opposition twice and win the game. However, the opposition pied up the runs, scoring a mammoth 575. The bowlers were helpless but Samuel Conners was the pick of the bowlers, picking up a 5 wicket haul.

Glamorgan have had a torrid time this season. With no wins so far they find themselves 7th in the points table and will look to find a win from somewhere which can kick-start their season. They will learn a lot from their last game and will look to carry forward with the positives.

After winning the toss and opting to bat first Glamorgan made a really good start in the 1st innings. Scoring 450 runs was a brilliant effort led by the brilliant knock of 98 by Billy Root.
