Tournament: Abu Dhabi T10 League 2021 | Format: T10 | Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, UAE | Toss: To Bowl
Bet NowDeccan Gladiators have to come up with an improved effort as they play the Maratha Arabians in the 22nd game of the T10 League, 2021. Both the teams are looking in poor form at the moment. The Deccan Gladiators come here after suffering a loss against the Northern Warriors while it was another ordinary effort from the Maratha Arabians as they went down against Team Abu Dhabi in the last game.
The Maratha Arabians have lost the last four games in a row and the side would be low on confidence having lost most of the games in the tournament by big margins. Though the Gladiators haven’t taste much success in their last few games they have competed well. It remains to be seen if the Maratha Arabians are able to end the season on a high having lost all their hopes of making it to the next round.
Kieron Pollard would be extremely upset with last game’s loss against the Northern Warriors. They nearly pulled off a remarkable run chase only to lose the game by 3 runs in the end. With three consecutive losses the side has slipped down on the points table and needs to win this game by a big margin to keep its hopes alive for a place in the playoffs.
The opening pair of Mohammad Shahzad and Sunil Narine will need to play a very important role in this game as they have failed in the last few games. In the middle order Azam Khan looks in good form and he will need good support from Cameron Delport and Pollard. Anwar Ali did well down the order and a quick fire knock would be expected from him here.
Their bowlers have become the weak link for the side and have looked ineffective in most games so far. Zeeshan Zameer and Narine will need to bowl tight spells with the new ball. Zahoor Khan did well in the last game but the side would expect better show from the likes of Anwar Ali, Ravi Rampaul and Aaron Summers in this game.

Imran Tahir, Azam Khan, Zahoor Khan, Aaron Summers, Zeeshan Zameer, Anwar Ali, Imtiaz Ahmed, Yasir Kaleem, Prashant Gupta, Sharafuddin Ashraf, Cameron Delport
Mosaddek Hossain would be a very upset man with the kind of form his side has shown in the tournament. They lost against Team Abu Dhabi by 9 wickets in what was another one-sided game. They are out of the contention for the playoffs and as defending champions all that Hossain would want from his team is to end the season on a happy note.
Alishan Sharafu and Muktar Ali will have to score quick runs at the top as their batsmen have not kept up to the pace of this format. Mohammad Hafeez has been a big disappointment and he will need to do well in the middle with Laurie Evans and Shoaib Malik. Hossain will need to play a strong hand down the order considering the form of other players.
Yamin Ahmadzai and Sompal Kami have been expensive right through the season a better show would be expected from them in this game. Hossain will have to lead by example with the ball and also expect tight spells from Maroof Merchant, Ishan Malhotra and Muktar Ali as the Gladiators have a very strong batting line-up.

There would be odd clouds in the sky over Abu Dhabi on February 04 but we don’t expect to see it have any impact on the game. The batting surface has improved from what we had seen at the start of the tournament as batsmen are being able to play their strokes more easily. The side batting first would target a score of more than 135 runs.
Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi is a large ground and the outfield is very fast here which allows batsmen to score lots of runs. The conditions here are tough for the fast bowlers with little assistance from the surface. Spinners do well at this venue as the ball turns sharply often surprising the batsmen.
The winning formula for most sides in this tournament has been to know a target score and chase it down. The pitches have been good for batting and having a target score allows the sides to plan the chase. Thus we believe the side winning the toss would like to bowl in this game.
Maratha Arabians have had a tournament that they would like to forget. Their batting performance has left much to be desired and all batting combinations that they have tried have failed miserably. Deccan Gladiators despite their losses have looked a much better side and have a very powerful batting line-up and this would make them favorites in this game.
