We are expecting Desert Riders to win!
The 13th match of Qatar T10 League 2019 Desert Riders taking on the Heat Stormers in a quest to topple the Swift Gallopers from the top of the points table. Led by Mohammad Hafeez, the Desert Riders won the initial two games, encountered a no result in the third, and later suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Falcon Hunters. With their league run coming to an end and the first spot at the grab, the hosts would be hoping to put rectify their mistakes of the previous duel and put up a scintillating display in the forthcoming feud. On the other hand, the Heat Stormers are yet to score a win in the ongoing season as they too hold a similar fate as Pearl Gladiators with two losses and a no result with the only difference being the net run rate which is -3.350 for the former while it is -3.821 for the latter.
Muhammed Tanveer has scored the most runs for Desert Riders in the ongoing T20 duels with 101 runs in 3 innings while playing at a strike rate of 171.18. Not to forget, the top-order batsman has remained unbeaten throughout and would be expected to go berserk in the upcoming duel. Opener Mohammad Hafeez and Adnan Mirza were dismissed cheaply in the previous outing and would be aiming to cement their stay and score the bulk of runs for their side in the much-coveted encounter. Sohail Tanvir with his exorbitant T20 experience would be spearheading the bowling department for the Desert Riders along with the spin duo of Ajay Lalcheta and Rambith Rambukwella could form a solid bowling attack for the Riders.

The Heat Stormers haven’t had the best run this season and with two more league matches remaining they would be hoping to go all-in versus Desert Riders. Skipper Manpreet Gony would be expected to lead his side up front as was the case in the game against Swift Gallopers wherein he bashed 11-ball 31. Scott Edwards and Sikandar Raza in spite of possessing excellent hard-hitting abilities haven’t been able to get big totals on board and it is about time they deliver to their potential. All-rounder Satvir Singh (2/16) bagged economical figures with his pace prowess in the lately concluded match and along with spinner Owais Ahmed could be a force to reckon with in the upcoming encounter.

It's going to be clear weather with the temperature gliding in the low 20s. One could expect an excellent set of conditions for the batters throughout with scores above 100 being chased easily in the later stages of the game.
The wicket at West End Cricket Stadium has assisted the batters on numerous occasions and with 95 being the average first innings score in the concurrent season of the T10 League, one could anticipate the batsmen to go above and beyond in the coming encounter.
The toss winning team must look to bowl first considering the majority of the matches played in Qatar T10 League and the format, in particular, have been won by the teams batting second. With the dew factor coming into the play, the batters woud be in for a delight and are likely to chase the totals without much duress.
Desert Riders look far competitive on paper and would be coming in as the favorites for the match versus Heat Stormers. The trio of Mohammad Hafeez, Muhammad Tanveer, Sohail Tanvir has done a decent job so far and could be easily vouched to put up a ripping exhibition in their last league match of the season.
We are expecting Desert Riders to win!
