Klaasen, on the other hand, has consistently made a significant contribution in the middle order and the Giants would be dependent on him. While the lower order also features Holder and Pretorius, the two may not be relied on for a big finish.

After Joburg robbed Pretoria Capitals of a hat-trick of wins, Wayne Parnell and co. bounced back with a win at home. Neesham and Nortje cleaned up the Joburg batting order with 3 wickets each.

To bounce back in such a fashion must have boosted the Capitals’ confidence and they will come to Durban with momentum. It wasn’t any ordinary win.

The Capitals had a 12-hour turnaround after their loss in Johannesburg. Phil Salt has looked in good touch lately. His recent fifty combined with the batting conditions in Durban are sure to raise the hopes of Capitals and Salt himself.

His opening partner Will Jacks is also finding the middle of the bat often and the pair can give Pretoria Capitals a brilliant start. It is the middle order that would worry Wayne Parnell as they prepare to face Durban Super Giants.
