English opener Jos Buttler (77* runs) was the star with the bat last night as he batted throughout the innings undefeated to complete the chase. Dawid Malan (42 runs) gave him a good company with the duo sharing 87-run partnership to set the platform. They completed the chase despite a couple of hiccups in the last 4-5 overs.

England bowlers were right on the money from the start as they reduced Australia to 30/3 in the power play.  Chris Jordan showcase his death bowling skills to pick up 2 wickets while Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, and Mark Wood chipped with a wicket each.

Australian top-order was blown away by England pacers as they lost three wickets inside 5 overs. Aaron Finch (40 runs) and Marcus Stoinis (35 runs) took their time to rebuild the innings. Upon their dismissal their middle order crawled to 157 runs with small cameos from Maxwell, Ashton Agar, and Cummins.
