The Eastern Storm defeated the Garden Route Badgers at home in the last game, while the Tuskers outdid Mpumalanga Rhinos 

In the last five years, Eastern Storm hasn't defeated the Tuskers, and this is likely to play on their minds in this game. Their batting performance in the last game wasn't convincing, which is a big challenge. The Tuskers would fire all cylinders in this game to maintain their lead on the points table. Wesley Coulentianos shall be happy with the 73-run win against the Garden Route Badgers. Their bowlers had a great game and bowled the side to a win. However, there are a few concerns for the side with the bat, as their top order failed to contribute in the last game. Coulentianos will expect a determined effort from his batters in this game.  

Wesley Coulentianos and Aron Visser struggled with the bat at the top, and the pair shall need to offer a good start in this game. Kabelo Sekhukhune, Danie Rossouw, and Shane Dadswell must build partnerships in the middle order as they face a strong bowling attack. Mangaliso Mosehle and Divan Posthumus will need to add to the score down the order.  

Amaan Khan and Nico van Zyl made great use of the new ball against the Badgers. Early wickets from them shall help the side's cause in this contest. Tumelo Simelane shall look to start from where he left off in the last game. Shane Dadswell, Coulentianos, and Kabelo Sekhukhune must offer support to the main bowlers.

Tuskers Preview

Michael Erlank's side put up a strong performance in their first game. They defeated the Mpumalanga Rhinos by an innings and 72 runs. The side ticked all the boxes with the bat and the ball and shall bring that confidence into this game. Erlank shall want his players to continue with the same form and earn their second consecutive victory.  

Cameron Shekle missed out in the last game and will be aiming for a better show. Thamsanga Kumalo and Michael Erlank scored hundreds in the last game, which adds to their confidence. The middle order also looked good, and the side shall expect runs from Tian Koekemoer, Malcolm Nofal and Andile Mokgakane as the Storm have a strong bowling attack.  

Malcolm Nofal and Stefan Tait bowled well with the new ball, and they would look to get the side early breakthroughs. Keith Dudgeon's six wickets in the last game is a massive motivation for the young bowler, and she will look to do well. Alindile Mhletywa, Erlank and Andile Mokgakane make it a well balanced attack.

Willowmoore Park, Benoni balances it out between the batsmen and the bowlers. With shorter square boundaries, it is a good ground for batsmen who play the cut and pull well. Fast bowlers also do well on this track with the grass cover we have seen over the years at this ground. There isn't much on this surface for the spinners.
