Will the Tigers roar for the second time at Wankhede?
Our prediction is: Eagle Thane Strikers will win the match!
Aakash Tigers had a winning start to the season with their victory against Triumph Knights in a last over thriller. Openers Kaustaub Pawar and Aakarshit Gomel set the perfect base for the chase with a 67 run partnership at the top. Their middle order kept losing wickets regularly and almost made a mockery of the chase. They won the match with 3 balls remaining and 5 wickets in hand eventually. Their bowlers led by skipper Dhawal Kulkarni restricted the opposition to below par score of just 147 runs in their 20 overs. Arjun Tendulkar and Anjdeep Lad were amongst the wickets and helped his team to control the run flow. Bhavin Thakkar may replace Miinad Manjrekar in the playing XI.
Eagle Thane Strikers lost their first match against Northern Mumbai panthers by 6 runs in a thriller. Their Skipper Aditya Tare and Kaushik Chikhalikar scored the fifties and kept the team in the hunt for the high scoring chase. Sarfaraz Khan and Sagar Mishra got quick-fire starts but failed to stay till the end and finish the game in their favor. Their bowling unit put up a dismal show leaking 190 runs in 20 overs. Surprisingly, seven bowlers were used to bowl 20 overs and six of them got a wicket each. Ankush Jaiswal and Sagar Mishra had combined bowling figures of 8-0-48-2 and the rest of the bowlers had combined match haul of 12-0-142-4. Every bowler leaked runs at over 10 RPO and they need to tinker their bowling attack.
Aditya Tare – Tare showed some great fight scoring 71 runs off just 44 balls during the chase. But, the chase was halted when he got out in the penultimate over trying to increase the scoring rate.
Sagar Mishra – Mishra was one of the two bowlers in their team to put up a decent show with bowling figures of 4-0-25-1 and to add to it he scored 22 runs off just 15 balls during the chase.

Wankhade is a good batting pitch where the ball comes onto the bat nicely. Fast bowlers may enjoy the pace, bounce and carry in this pitch. The average score here will be around 160-170 runs. Matchday is expected to be a sunny day with 30-35 degrees temperature.
Teams will look to chase down the total set by the opposition batsmen. Chasing can get easier in the evening due to wet outfield and dew factor. Dew causes trouble in gripping the ball for the bowlers and they may find it difficult to control the ball.
Eagle Thane Tigers despite their loss put up a brave fight with the bat and have a lot of quality batsmen in their team. Aakash tigers almost choked in the small chase the last match but they have good bowlers to trouble the opposition batsmen. Aakash Tigers bowlers against Eagles Batsmen will be an exciting contest in this match. We expect Eagles to come out victorious.
