After a good start to the season with two wins, Gazi Group Cricketers' recent form hasn't been great where they lost four of the last five matches, with their latest setback being a heavy seven-wicket defeat against Legends of Rupganj in their last match.

After a poor start to the season with just one win in the first three matches, Dhaka Leopards' recent form has been great where they won three of the last four matches and after a loss against Legends of Rupganj by 2 runs they bounced back in style to claim a 30-run victory over Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club.

Opting to bat first in a rain-reduced 45-over contest, the Leopards recovered from early losses thanks to a brilliant 91 from Iftakhar Hossain Ifti. He anchored the innings beautifully alongside captain Mohammad Mithun, who smashed a fluent 71. A late, explosive cameo from Moin Khan (69* off 54 balls) powered the Leopards to a commanding total of 276/7.

Defending 277, their bowlers made an electric start, reducing the opposition to a dismal 4 for 3 in the first three overs. Alauddin Babu led the early destruction with a superb spell of 2/36.
