Captain Bhanuka Rajapaksa and wicket-keeper Azam Khan came together at the crease and produced an unbeaten 64-run partnership to take Gladiators to their first win of the competition.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa remained unbeaten till the end and scored 37 runs off 24 balls with the help of six fours and one six, whereas Azam Khan chipped in with a quick-fire 35 off 16 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes.
