We have seen interesting games in the first week of Indian Premier League 2022. As the Gujarat Titans take on the Delhi Capitals in the 10th game of the season, we expect to see a close contest. Both sides have won their respective opening games. The Titans defeated the Lucknow Super Giants in a close contest while the Delhi Capitals delivered a punch to the Mumbai Indians.
The Delhi Capitals have shown great consistency over the last four seasons and they play like a well-oiled machine. Their batting would be strengthened in this game with David Warner’s arrival and the side would aim to do well with the ball. The Titans have concerns with their batting and their top order has looked in poor form. It will be interesting to see if they can come up with a good show and win the game here.
It wasn’t the most convincing effort with the bat but Hardik Pandya would take it after his side made its debut with a 5-wicket win against the Lucknow Super Giants. They nearly made a mess of what should have been an easy chase but good show down the order rescued them. Pandya would be aware of Delhi’s strengths and like to see his players punch above their weight.
There are some concerns for the side with the bat as Shubman Gill missed out in the last game and he has to deliver an electrifying start with Matthew Wade. Vijay Shankar looked like a misfit at No. 3 and he must build a partnership with Pandya. The side looks good lower down the order as David Miller, Rahul Tewatia, and Abhinav Manohar came up with good knocks against Lucknow to take their side to victory.
Mohammad Shami was brilliant with the ball in the last game but he would need support from Varun Aaron who got his lines wrong against Lucknow. Rashid Khan would have to weave his magic against Delhi’s strong batting line-up. His performance may prove to be the deciding factor between the two teams. Pandya and Lockie Ferguson have experience and they have to use it well in this game.

They are being seen as one of the top contenders for the title and Rishabh Pant’s side hasn’t hurt its reputation after their first game. They defeated the Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets in an exciting run chase. There would be few concerns for the side going into this game in both departments of the game. Pant would want to iron out these issues and win the second game in a row.
Prithvi Shaw hit the ball well in the last game but the side would like to see him convert the start as he opens with David Warner. Warner’s entry adds to the firepower of this batting line-up. Mandeep Singh and Pant shall look to make contributions in the middle order with Tim Seifert. Lalit Yadav, Shardul Thakur, and Axar Patel played good knocks down the order and this would add to Delhi’s confidence in this game.
Khaleel Ahmed did well with the new ball but the side would like to see tighter spells from Shardul Thakur as he failed to bowl in the right areas. Kuldeep Yadav got his line spot on and the side would have big expectations from him in this game. Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Patel also bowled poor spells and they have to make a strong comeback as the Titans have a good batting unit.

Pune would see clear skies on April 02 and we expect to have a great game of T20 cricket. The wicket is expected to be flat as we had seen in the last game that was played here. The ball would hit the bat hard allowing batsmen to play their strokes easily. The side batting first in this game would look to put a score of 180 runs or more to feel safe on this wicket.
MCA Stadium, Pune has a very good batting surface and fast outfield. The flat surface and true bounce allow batsmen to play their strokes without any worry. It is a tough place for the fast bowlers as there isn’t much assistance for them. Spinners have done well in the past as the rough surface does offer good assistance to them.
It is a great batting surface here in Pune. Sides chasing scores have always had an advantage at this as the wicket doesn’t assist the bowlers. The side winning the toss would thus put the opposition in and hope to get them out for a small total.
Gujarat Titans did well in the last game with the bat and the ball. However, this would be a tougher challenge for them. Their top order didn’t look convincing in the last game and the side would have to work in this area. Delhi Capital ticked all the boxes in the last game and they have a very strong batting line-up. This would put the side ahead in the contest and make them favorites.
