Indian top order has been struggling big time with players struggling for runs. Rohit's century in first match and Pujara's fighting 58 last match have been their only bright spots. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer have looked at times with their cameos. The spin trio of Axar Patel, Ravi Jadeja, and Ravi Ashwin have been their biggest strength in the batting department.

Ravi Jadeja (22 wickets) and Ravi Ashwin (18 wickets) have ran through the opposition batting line-up. Umesh Yadav showed his class with a 3-fer in the first innings last match. Axar Patel has been off colour with just one wicket so far. Mohammed Siraj too has been unlucky with no wickets after getting a wicket off his first delivery.
