Bangladesh has a rare chance to win a T20I series against India!
India will win the match!
Bangladesh team overcame all the odds to beat India by 7 wickets and they ended their losing streak against India with their maiden win. Bangladesh`s win will overshadow their off-field issues surrounding the team for the past 2 weeks. They have a rare opportunity to win this match and clinch the series against the Indian team.
India's team is hugely affected by their conservative approach early in the match. India's top-order batsmen are taking their time to settle and failing to get a quick run early in the innings. The Indian team has a lot of questions to ponder over their cautious template which is not serving well in the T20Is. India needs to win this match to keep the series alive.
The Indian team will be disappointed with their loss in the first T20I match. Rohit fell early in the match for just 9 runs. Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, and Rishab Pant were unable to force the scoring rate and were scoring runs at a strike rate of just 100. Shreyas Iyer tried his best with a good knock of 13-ball 22 but was dismissed at the wrong time. Some late hitting from Krunal Pandya and Washington Sundar took the total to a competitive 148 runs.
Washington Sundar and Yuzi Chahal were at their best bowling accurate lines and lengths. Rishab Pant had a bad day in the field with poor DRS call, missed LBW referrals, and run-out of Shikhar Dhawan. Krunal Pandya and Khaeel Ahmed leaked runs at crucial moments and failed to see the chase in India`s favor.
Shikhar Dhawan – Dhawan scored just 41 runs off 42 balls in the first match before being run-out. He needs to be more proactive and score runs at a quick pace to set the tone of the innings.
Yuzi Chahal – Chahal was the best bowler on the Indian side and he was unlucky as the Indian team failed to spot two LBW dismissals of Mushfiqur Rahim in his over. He caused trouble to the batsmen consistently and always looked threatening to take a wicket.

Bangladesh has started the tour on a positive note with their first win over India. Mushfiqur Rahim rode on his luck and took his team to victory to win in a tense chase. He scored 60 runs off 43 balls and finished the chase unbeaten in the final over. Mohammed Naim and Soumya Sarkar played vital cameos to help to build a partnership in the middle overs. Skipper Mahmudullah finished the match with a six scoring a 7-ball 15 runs in the end.
Bangladeshi bowlers applied the choke on Indian batsmen and never gave away any easy runs. Afif Hossain and Aminul Islam bowled in tandem in the middle overs and had combined figures of 6-0-33-3 to restrict Indian top order. Mustafizur Rahman and Al-Amin Hossain too bowled economically giving runs at less than 7.5 RPO.
Mushfiqur Rahim – Rahim played a gem of knock scoring a T20I fifty and he knocked 4 boundaries in the penultimate over to seal the chase. He hit 8 boundaries and a six in his knock of 63 runs.
Afif Hossain – All-rounder Afif Hossain bowled well with match figures of 3-0-11-1 in the middle. He did not allow any momentum to the Indian batting unit with stump-to-stump bowling.

Rajkot is facing a huge cyclone threat and we have to keep our fingers crossed with hopes of rain allowing the match to happen.
Rajkot pitch is a batting paradise where we can expect high scores in range of 180-200 runs. The average score batting first in this pitch is 198 runs.
200+ runs have been chased down in this pitch earlier and so teams will be unsure of the safe target here. Both teams will look to chase down the total.
The Indian team will be favorites to win this match despite the loss in the first match. They have a strong core group of players such as Rohit, Dhawan, Rahul, and Chahal who have vast experience in the T20Is. Bangladesh will be upbeat after their historic win and will look to do a repeat of it. We expect India to win this match and level the series 1-1.
