Shreyas Iyer played some superb strokes in his small cameo along with KL Rahul to complete the chase with 26 balls remaining. Indian bowlers came back strongly after going for a lot of runs in the powerplay. Yuzvendra Chahal (2/28) and Washington Sundar (1/25) were the pick of the bowlers and spun a web around the Bangladeshi batsmen in the middle overs.

Deepak Chahar and Shivan Dube produced good economical spells to not give away any easy runs. Khaleel Ahmed was taken for a lot of runs in this match leaking 44 runs in his 4 overs. He gave away 9 boundaries in his 4 overs and was unable to cause any trouble to the batsmen. Shardul Thakur or Rahul Chahar may get an opportunity in the playing XI in this match.

Shreyas Iyer - Iyer has playing attacking knocks in both the matches scoring runs at a strike rate of 170. He will be a vital player in the middle order for the Indian team with his aggressive approach in this match and future games too.

Soumya Sarkar and Mahmudullah played well to score identical 30 runs to take their team to a below-par score of 153 runs. They were looking set for a big score after a good start.

Bangladesh bowlers were unable to stop a rampant Rohit Sharma who smashed them to all parts of the ground right from the start. Leg spinner Aminul Islam was impressive in this match too and took the wickets of both the Indian openers. But, it was too late as they almost sealed the chase with a 100+ partnership.
