The third and final match of the T-20 series between India and South Africa will be played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on Sunday.

The opening encounter of the series had been abandoned without a ball being bowled. However, in the second game, skipper Virat Kohli's unbeaten 72 guided India to a seven-wicket victory over South Africa at Mohali to put them one up in the three-game T20 series. Sikhar Dhawan also played impact knock of 40 runs at the top of the order and provided solid platform. Earlier in bowling, Deepak Chahar used all his skills; he picked two wickets, While Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, and Navdeep Saini all claimed solitary scalps to restrict the opponent to the below-par score of 150 runs. India’s strength is there top-order batting who has consistently performed over the last couple of year. The Indian team will be feeling very confident after their convincing win in the last game. In recent times, India's success is heavily relying on their top three batting order batsmen – Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and Virat Kohli. Skipper Virat Kohli is leading the team from the front; he scored 339 runs from last 8 innings at an average of 67.80. While Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma also average more than 30.00 in the last year. 
In the middle order, Rishabh Pant wasted the opportunity in the last game. He is a destructive T-20 player and will be keen score big. He needs to play fearless but smart cricket. Shreyas Iyer looked solid in his short inning in the previous game. He provides great stability in the middle order. India also possesses two of the most quality all-rounder in ODI – Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja. Both can be very destructive with bat and extremely effective with a bowl. On top, they are the best fielders in the Indian side.
On the bowling front, all the bowlers did a great job and picked wickets at a regular interval in the previous game. Deepak Chahar has led the pace attack quite remarkably in the last game. He picked 2 crucial wickets. Jadeja, Pandya, and W Sunder also bowled brilliantly.

Proteas will be looking for clinical performance in all three facets of the game to get a win and level the series.

In the last game, batsmen failed to convert the start to a big one. Opener Reeza Hendricks has been leading T-20 scorer for the side in last year; he scored 271 runs from 8 games at an average of 33.87. However, he failed quickly in last game and would be keen to provide solid start along with the partner Quinton De Kock.  Skipper Quinton De Kock has been the most experienced T-20 player in the squad and his experience will be very vital to guide the youngster under pressure situation. He scored 939 runs from 37 International T-20 games.
Middle-order batsman Var der Dussen has been in great form in recent times, he is also the second-best T-20 scorer for the Proteas in last year, scored 254 from last 8 games. He would like continuing his batting form against India.  David Miller the most destructive south African T-20 batsmen failed to make an impact in the last game, his finishing touch is very important for the side in the most important game of the series.
