Bharath Chipli has been in decent form for India Capitals and he almost helped the team pick up a victory against Konark Suryas Odisha. Chipli was able to hit 61 runs from just 48 balls to bring India Capitals within a whisker of success. This is an impressive performance considering that none of the India Capitals batting stars were able to get above 10 runs despite chasing a modest target.

Iqbal Abdulla was able to pick up three wickets from the Konark Suryas Odisha line-up in the last match. He ended up finishing the match with figures of 3/16 from just four overs. Gujarat Greats Preview

Gujarat Greats have been struggling at the bottom and they have just suffered a third defeat in the five matches. In order to improve this poor run, Greats have to improve on several fronts.

Van Wyk continues to be the shining light for the team with 140 runs from his four innings so far in the campaign at an average of 46. The lack of runs from the team has been a major letdown. One of the main factors behind the loss against Tigers was the early wickets conceded by the team. Even though Kaif and Gayle were able to put together a decent partnership, there was not any recovery in the lineup towards the end of the batting order when Yashpal Singh, Deba Das, and Prasanna combined to put together 44 runs.

It was a painful story with the ball, as only Manan Sharma and Seekkuge Prasanna were able to pick up wickets. Sharma turned out to be the pick of the bowlers with three wickets, but he was punished quite heavily with 36 runs conceded in the four overs.
