After going down by a big margin in the second game South Africa Women bounced back in the last contest to take an important 2-1 lead in the series. This has pushed host India Women on the back foot and they will need to win this game to stay in the hunt for a series win.  

India Women have had an impressive record at home in the last few years and they would be looking to draw inspiration from those wins and do well in this game. South Africa is playing spirited cricket on this tour and the hosts would have to bring out their best game. Mithali Raj would be unhappy with the way her players approached in the last game. It was complacency that led to their downfall as they failed to grab the opportunities that were up for grabs. As they battle for survival in the series Raj would want her players to come up with a spirited effort and level the series 2-2. 

Jemimah Rodrigues needs to fire as her poor form at the top is hurting the side. She will need to stitch a good partnership with Smriti Mandhana who is doing well. In the middle order the side is enjoying good form with Punam Raut, Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur scoring runs. Down the order Deepti Sharma and Sushma Verma have also done well so far in the series and the side would look for quick runs from them here. 

Jhulan Goswami has been at her best so far in the series and the side would look for early wickets from her in this game. Mansi Joshi will need to provide her good support. The side would however expect better spells from the three spinners Poonam Yadav, Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad who haven’t earned the rewards from the spin-friendly conditions as they were expected to.

Laura Wolvaardt who stepped in to take charge of the side in absence of regular skipper Suné Luus who was ill would be proud with the effort of her girls. The side has pushed Indians back against the wall and shall look to capitalize on that. With Luus expected to make a comeback in the next game they look in good frame of mind. 

Lizelle Lee has been in brilliant form so far in the series and hit a magnificent hundred in the last game. She would look to repeat the magic in the next game and put up a good stand with Wolvaardt. The middle order is packed with good hitters of the ball in Luus and Lara Goodall. With Marizanne Kapp, Mignon du Preez and Anne Bosch down the order the side has good batting to follow. 

The side would be expecting good efforts with the ball from Kapp and Shabnim Ismail who have bowled well in this game so far. Ayabonga Khaka and Tumi Sekhukhune had bowled well in last game and similar efforts would be expected from them here. Nondumiso Shangase and Luus add strength to this bowling attack.
