South Africa Women would be proud of their efforts in this series. They come here with a convincing 7-wicket win in the fourth game and have taken an unassailable 3-1 lead in the series. The hosts have been completely outplayed in most of the games as they have failed to make use of the home advantage. 

The South African side wasn’t quite expected to win the series and definitely not by the 4th game. But they have done it in style and completely outplayed the Indians in the three games they have won. The hosts have been at the receiving end in most of the games and it would be interesting to see if they are able to end it on a face saving note in this game.

Mithali Raj would be upset with the show her bowlers have put up in the series so far. They were expected to trouble South Africans in these conditions but they have failed miserably so far in the series as they went down by 7 wickets in the last game. With the series already lost Raj would be looking for a face saving win ahead of the T20 series. 

The opening pair of Smriti Mandhana and Priya Punai will need to offer a good start. Indians have lost early wickets in all the games and can’t afford this here. The middle order is in great form with Punam Raut, Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur all having scored runs in the series. They would be expecting runs from Deepti Sharma and Sushma Verma down the order in this game.  

It is their bowling attack that will need to stand up to the onslaught of the South African batters. With Jhulan Goswami not there in the side this attack looks weak. Mansi Joshi needs to pick early wickets in this game. The spin trio of Poonam Yadav, Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad haven’t lived up to the expectations so far and shall look to end the series on a high.

Laura Wolvaardt who is leading in absence of Suné Luus has done well to guide her side to a historic series win in India. It was a good exhibition with the bat from the side in the last game as they went past the finishing line in style in the last game. A 4-1 win would be magnificent for the side and that’s what the skipper would be aiming for. 

Lizelle Lee and Wolvaardt have been brilliant so far in the series and the side would be looking for another impressive start from them in this game. Their middle order is also rock solid with Lara Goodall, Mignon du Preez and Marizanne Kapp having runs behind their backs. Anne Bosch and Sinalo Jafta can hit the ball hard and they would be expected to do the hitting towards the end of the game. 

Their bowling attack has impressed on this tour. Kapp and Shabnim Ismail have given good starts to their side and they would look to continue with the same form.  Ayabonga Khaka and Tumi Sekhukhune are doing well in the middle overs and the side would be expecting tight spells from them in this game.
