Ireland team cannot qualify for the finals of the Tri-series as both West Indies and Bangladesh have sealed their place with higher points. Ireland is yet to win a match this series and is striving hard for a win against top-ranked teams. Ireland put up a much-improved batting display in the last match scoring 327 runs in 50 overs.

Andy Balbirnie notched up a brilliant 135 runs off just 124 balls to help his team post a massive total. Kevin O Brien and Paul Stirling made vital partnerships with Balbirnie and scored their respective 50+ scores.  Ireland batting looks good with experienced players standing up.
