Ireland have experienced players in form of Paul Stirling, William Porterfield and Skipper Andrew Balbirnie alongside exciting young players such as Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, and Lorcan Tucker in the batting department. They have good depth in batting department with spin all-rounders George Dockrell and Simi Singh very capable with the bat.

They have a superb pace attack with the likes of Andy McBrine, Barry McCarthy, Joshua Little, Mark Adair, and Craig Young. They are expected to go in with four pacers and Mark Adair is expected to miss out. Simi Singh will lead the spin attack with George Dockrell for the company.
