PSL 2019 has been marred by controversies and they were back to broadcasting after their initial broadcaster left their contract. Peshawar Zalmi had a resounding win against Lahore Qalanders by thrashing them by 7 wickets and 10 overs to spare. Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz rattled the opposition batting line up with their bowling.

They both scalped 7 wickets among them. Young Leggie Ibtisam Sheikh looks like a welcome addition to their bowling attack. Umar Amin sealed the chase with a attacking fifty after early jitters in their top order.  They have enough firepower with all-rounders Kieron Pollard, Darren Sammy and Liam Dawson.

Islamabad has suffered two back to back losses after their excellent win in the tournament opener. Luke Ronchi is the lone batsmen in the top orde scoring runs whereas the rest are not amongst the runs. Asif Ali, Faheem Ashraf and Hussain Talat are playing good knocks and providing the much needed impetus to the batting innings at the end. Their bowlers took a severe beating last match against Quetta Gladiators.

Samit Patel and Shadab Khan have been good and bowling some economical over’s to contain the run rate.  Their pacers Skipper Mohammed Sami, Faheem Ashraf and Ruman Raees are yet to make a mark in the tournament.
