However, their bowlers have looked good, and Perera would like to take heart from that. His opponents are struggling, and the Kings' skipper would look to make use of this opportunity and bounce back.  

They would look for a good start at the top from Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Avishka Fernando. Dhananjaya de Silva must do well at No. 3 and add to the score along with Sadeera Samarawickrama and Shoaib Malik. Dunith Wellalag, Perera, and James Fuller add to the side's batting depth.  

Maheesh Theekshana and Perera have done well with the new ball and would like to get early breakthroughs in this game. The side would need good spells from Zaman Khan and Fuller in the middle overs. Wellalage and Vijayakanth Viyaskanth complete a strong bowling attack for the team.

Dasun Shanaka's side messed up the run case in the last game to go down by 9 runs against the Colombo Stars. The side made a clinical start in their innings, but a fall of wickets denied them a win. With back-to-back losses, the side needs to bounce back in this game, and Shanaka would look for a solid performance from his players.  

Jordan Cox and Shevon Daniel have got starts, and the side would like to see them convert these into big scores, opening the batting. The middle order has quality players in Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Tom Abell, and Shanaka. These players would need to build partnerships. Sikandar Raza will look to add quick runs along with Lahiru Madushanka and Chaturanga de Silva in the final overs.  

The side will expect a better bowling performance in this game. Lahiru Kumara has looked in good form, and he will aim for early wickets, sharing the new ball with Raza.
