The batting first, Kent was extremely poor with the bat. They scored 278 in the first innings thanks to the 77 scored by Joe Evison. As the story of season continued, the second inning was even further embarrassing as they got bowled out for 141 runs. A notable contribution from just Zak Crawley (34 off 78 balls) and Tawanda Muyeye (42 off 41 balls) wasn't enough as they could just set a target of 58 runs.

The bowling department tried its best to salvage a result from this game but with no help from the batters the job got even tougher.
