Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans are ready to clash in the 2nd match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Dubai on Friday. Imad Wasim and co. will be keen to get off to a decent start in this year’s competition. The franchise will be hoping that they can produce consistency needed to clinch their maiden crown this year.
On the other hand, Multan Sultans will be looking to put in a good show with the bat and ball. Skipper Shoaib Malik will be determined that Sultans can turn things around in this year’s tournament. Last year, franchise started off well but lost the momentum in the later stages of the competition to finish fifth in the league table.
In the previous meeting between the two sides last season, Kings came out on top against Sultans in Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Mohammad Rizwan will be designated wicket-keeper for the side for this opening game. He has done well for his domestic side in the T20 format. Australia’s Ben Dunk is another option in terms of wicket-keeping for the side.
In the bowling department, the side will be relying on the likes of Mohammad Amir, Usman Khan Shinwari and Sohail Khan to deliver the goods with the ball. Usama Mir has done well for the side with his spin variations.
