They come into this match with two consecutive defeats after having looked as the best side at the start of the season. Knights on the other hand finally had their first win of the season in the last game which would have brought relief for their fans.  

It will be interesting to see if the Knights are able to win another game having looked good in the last game. Dolphins would be confident about their prospects having defeated Knights earlier in the season.

It was finally something to cheer about for the Petrus van Biljon's team as they earned their first win of the season defeating the Warriors in the last game. They would look to carry forward the confidence into the next game and win it.  

The side is battling with poor form of openers. Patrick Kruger and Andries Gous the new opening pair didn’t do well in the last game. Rudi Second almost singlehandedly won the game for the side with the bat. The team would need better performance from the likes of Keegan Petersen, Petrus van Biljon and Grant Mokoena with the bat when they face the Dolphins bowling attack. 

The bowlers did well in the last game and they have been bowling well in season. Marchant de Langeb and Ottniel Baartman picked up three wickets each and got good support from Ryan McLaren who was economical during his spell. Eddie Leie also bowled well and this adds strength to their attack.

Keshav Maharaj who is leading in the absence of Khaya Zondo would have been upset with the performance of his side in the last game against the Titans. Having been defeated in the last two games they would look to improve their performance for the next game. 

Openers Vaughn van Jaarsveld and Sarel Erwee have been in good form this season and they would be looking to continue with it in the next game. Marques Ackerman and Dane Vilas failed in the last game and would be looking to make amends in the next one. Sibonelo Makhanya played well in the last game and his form adds strength to the middle order. They have a good batting line-up going into the next game. 

The bowlers haven’t had it good in the last two games. Kerwin Mungroo, Eathan Bosch and Senuran Muthusamy did bowl well though. Lot would depend on how Keshav Maharaj bowls in the next game as he is the most experienced bowler in the side.

The conditions are likely to be overcast on the 17th of March at Kimberly. The ground has soaked in lot of rain over the last few days and this would make it a difficult surface to bat on.
